Thank you for supporting the Best Case for Beer in Ontario and for standing up for more than 6,000 good union jobs across the province. Thanks to your support, UFCW Canada Local 12R24 members will continue to make a tremendous contribution to our local economies, the environment, and the overall safety of our neighbourhoods. 

While there are changes coming to Ontario's beer retailing system, UFCW Canada members working at Beer Stores across the province will remain a leading force for responsible selling, and will continue to save Ontario taxpayers more than $40 million annually through The Beer Store’s award-winning recycling program. Every year, The Beer Store processes and diverts more than 400 tonnes of empty beverage containers from municipal landfills, refuse, and blue box programs.

UFCW Canada members at Beer Store locations across the province are also looking forward to continuing their outstanding contribution to the Fight for a Cure. So far, the Returns for Leukemia Bottle Drive has helped save countless lives by raising more than $9.6 million for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
