Lockout brings call for Robin Hood boycott



PORT COLBORNE, ON / April 24, 2008 - A nationwide boycott of Robin Hood products has been launched to pressure the company to return to the bargaining table.

UFCW Canada National President Wayne Hanley announced the boycott at a picket line rally at Horizon Milling in Port Colborne, Ontario a year to the day since Horizon locked out 61 members of UFCW Canada Local 416P.

Horizon, which is owned by Cargill, produces and distributes Robin Hood flour and baking mixes. For more on the Robin Hood boycott click here.
