Toronto – January 10, 2013 – The S.A.M.E. will soon make history. On January 17, the Students Against Migrant Exploitation, or The S.A.M.E., will mark the official launch of its very first high-school chapter.

Ottawa – January 8, 2013 – The meeting this week in Ottawa between the Prime Minister, and Idle No More advocates and First Nations leaders must result in more than just a photo opportunity, but Government Boss Stephen Harper's history is not encouraging. One of the first actions Harper took when he first became Prime Minister was to discard the Kelowna Accord — a comprehensive agreement between the federal and provincial governments, and the leaders of five national Aboriginal organizations in Canada to bring equitable education, employment and living conditions to Aboriginal Peoples.

The newest effort by The Students Against Migrant Exploitation, or The S.A.M.E., is a four-part mini-series on the experiences of migrant agricultural workers in Canada.
Toronto – January 7, 2013 – The webCampus courses are terrific! I was able to take the Health and Safety courses that interest me, work to complete them at my own pace, and attempt pragmatic thought-provoking assignments.
Ottawa – January 3, 2013 – In an open letter to the Prime Minister, UFCW Canada National President Wayne Hanley has called on Stephen Harper to meet with Chief Theresa Spence of the Attawapiskat First Nation, who has been on a hunger strike since December 11.
