Montreal – January 25, 2014 – Vincent Dansereau who works at the Metro supermarket in Vercheres, Quebec is one of 18 recipients of a $1,000 scholarship offered annually to UFCW Canada members and their eligible children who are furthering their education in a full-time program at a university, college or other recognized post-secondary learning institution.
Vincent is studying social science and humanities at the Cégep de Sorel-Tracy.
“I feel privileged to be receiving this scholarship out of all the participants. It provides me with additional motivation and brings me a step closer to achieving my goal of undertaking law studies. I wish to sincerely thank UFCW Canada for supporting my efforts so far which keep me focused on my goal and encourage me to invest in my studies,” says Vincent.
