UFCW Canada celebrates Labour Day 2013

Toronto – September 3, 2013 – UFCW Canada activists and families came out in force for Labour Day this year, to lead numerous parades, picnics and other celebrations across the country.

Throughout Western Canada and the Maritimes, UFCW Canada gold was at the forefront of numerous community events, and in Ontario, Canada’s leading union – UFCW Canada – played a central role in the country’s largest parades in Toronto and Hamilton.

Most of Quebec celebrates the extraordinary achievements of workers and the labour movement on May 1^st, International Workers’ Day.
