Boycott of Anheuser-Busch InBev products supported by Canada's leading union

boycott labatt's brewing stella artois InBevSt. John’s, Nfld. – August 1, 2013 – Canada’s leading union, UFCW Canada, is calling on activists, friends, and supporters to boycott Anheuser-Busch InBev’s imported products. For more than three months, the Labatt’s Brewing Company (a subsidiary of transnational AB InBev) has forced its employees in St. John’s Newfoundland out on strike for basic fairness.

As proud members of the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE), the St. John’s workers are making a brave stand against the global beer giant’s attempt to establish a pattern of concessions and roll-backs that could then be imposed on unionized AB InBev employees around the world.

Support fairness for brewery workers by boycotting the following imported AB InBev products:

• Stella Artois

• Stella Artois Light

• Beck's

• Brahma

Hoegaarden

Leffe

Staropramen

Boddingtons

• Bass

Löwenbräu

Ozujsko Pivo

You can also Act NOW by sending a letter to AB InBev to demand basic fairness for employees and their communities.
