Washington, D.C. – February 26, 2020 – UFCW Canada Local 1518 president and activist Kim Novak is now an International Vice President after being elected unanimously to the UFCW International Executive Board.
Sister Novak joins National President and International Executive Vice President Paul Meinema, and International Vice Presidents Wayne Hanley, Antonio Filato, Shawn Haggerty, and Suzanne Hodge on the board to represent the perspectives of UFCW Canada members, and to lead the union’s efforts to build a better life for workers throughout North America.
