Service workers at Indigo Park join the union – UFCW 102

Hamilton, Ont. – December 10, 2019 – Hundreds of service workers at Indigo Park locations across Ontario are the newest members of UFCW Local 102.

Over 300 Indigo Park employees who work as parking attendants and valet drivers decided to unionize after workers at the Chateau Laurier location in Ottawa called UFCW Canada.

“Congratulations to the new members at Indigo Park, and welcome to your union,” says UFCW Local 102 President Dominic Musitano. “We look forward to working with the members and the employer to negotiate a fair first contract,” he adds.

UFCW Canada Local 102 represents over 5,000 members working in the hotel, hospitality, and service industries, as well as other sectors of the economy. To learn more about UFCW Local 102, visit the Local Union’s website.
