Members at CCVT achieve first contract – UFCW 175

Toronto – November 26, 2019 – Congratulations to UFCW Canada Local 175 members at the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture (CCVT) on ratifying their first collective agreement. Some of the other gains in this first collective agreement include:
• healthcare benefits paid fully by the employer;
• one paid float day, a2 paid sick days, and three paid mental health days every year; and
• respect for the employees’ religious holidays.
