Security members at Galleria Shopping Centre gain better wages, schedules

Toronto – February 12, 2019 – UFCW Canada Local 1006A members working as security guards at Toronto’s Galleria Shopping Centre have ratified a new union contract that provides wage increases, improvements to scheduling, and more.

The agreement runs until October 2021 and was negotiated by UFCW 1006A Union Representative Cliff Kostyniuk, with support from bargaining unit member Carlenny Camacho.

“The members are very happy with this agreement, particularly the wage increases and winter jackets,” says Camacho.
