Call centre members at Integrated Messaging Inc. win more vacation, sick days

Winnipeg – January 29, 2019 – UFCW Canada Local 832 members working at Integrated Messaging Inc. (IMI) in Winnipeg, Manitoba have achieved a new three-year collective agreement that provides more vacation and sick days and better pay.

Integrated Messaging Inc. is Canada's leading inbound call centre, specializing in direct response order processing and information processing, credit card clearing, and advanced reporting.

As part of the new contract, the 20 call centre members will see their wages rise by $2 an hour over the life of the agreement. The contract also provides members with more vacation and sick time and additional premiums pay.

“It’s a very good agreement,” says UFCW 832 Negotiator Phil Kraychuk. “The bargaining committee recommended acceptance to the members and their impressions are reflected in the unanimous vote of approval,” he adds.
