Health care members at VOI achieve new agreement – UFCW 832

Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie, Man. – November 19, 2018 – UFCW Canada Local 832 health care members working at Visions of Independence (VOI) have secured a new collective agreement that brings improvements to contract language and more.

Visions of Independence provides residential services and community support for people living with disabilities. The goal is to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities with the encouragement and support that they need to enhance their independence. UFCW 832 members coordinate the day programs and group home programs provided by VOI – assisting supported individuals with everyday living needs.
