Toronto – January 27, 2018 – According to Statistics Canada, tuition fees for undergraduate programs for Canadian full-time students were, on average, $6,571 in the 2017/2018 academic year, up 3.1 percent from the previous year. Average compulsory fees, meanwhile, amounted to $880 in 2017/2018, up 3.8 percent from the previous year. Evidently, the cost of higher education is rising much faster than inflation.
