Members at Arctic Co-Operatives Limited achieve new agreement – UFCW 832Winnipeg – November 18, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 832 members working at Arctic Co-Operatives Limited in Winnipeg have ratified a new agreement.

During the life of the six-year agreement, members’ wages will increase by 13.5 percent. In addition to the wage increase, all members will receive a $1,000 lump sum payment.

Other monetary gains include allowances for winter parkas and out-of-town work. The new agreement also contains enhancements to personal leave and improved language for term positions.

Incorporated in 1972, Arctic Co-Operatives Limited is a servicing vehicle for numerous co-operative businesses in northern Canada. UFCW 832 represents non-management employees at the Co-op, who work as mail clerks, merchandise coordinators, and in other positions.
