Members at Pepsi Brandon ratify new contract – UFCW 832

Brandon, Man. – November 3, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 832 members working at the Pepsi plant in Brandon, Manitoba have voted unanimously in favour of a new collective agreement.

Approximately 90 percent of the Pepsi Brandon members attended the ratification vote, held on November 1.

Under the three-year contract, employees will see their wages increase by $1.35 per hour over the next three years. Members will also receive a $500 signing bonus.

As well, the union negotiating committee was successful in obtaining increases to the safety footwear allowance, improvements to bereavement leave, and vacation payout for up to two weeks.
