   Members at Cineplex Courtney Park achieve new contract – UFCW 1006AMississauga, Ont. – January 17, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 1006A members working at the Cineplex Courtney Park Cinema in Mississauga have ratified a new, industry-leading contract that brings improvements to contract language, scheduling flexibility, wages, and more.

The new contract covers approximately 100 members at the multiplex movie theater. Some of the new contract's highlights include an increased amount of student leave; increased flexibility in regards to weekly scheduling availability; improvements to the wage grid;  a doubling of the signing bonus; and inclusion of new harassment-free workplace language.

The union negotiating committee included Kerrin Jalandra, Ilija Dimeski, and union representatives Dustin Magee and Gord Jackson.
