Who can take courses through webCampus?

UFCW Canada members and their family members are eligible to take advantage of the webCampus program.

How can I check to see if my computer is compatible in order to take webCampus courses?

You can self-check your computer’s capabilities to use webCampus by clicking here. We offer links and helpful hints on how to fix identified issues.

Do I need to pay for the courses offered through webCampus?

All webCampus courses are available free-of-charge.

I completed the online registration form, however, I can't find the email to confirm my registration, what do I do?

You will receive a confirmation email after completing the online registration. If you do not receive an email - check your SPAM/JUNK mail. If you are still unable to find the email, please CONTACT US.

How do I know I was successfully enrolled in my course?

When you enrol in a course, you will receive an email confirming your enrolment, also, the course will appear on your MY Courses page and under the welcome message from your local union President.

How long do I have to complete my course(s)?

When you register for a course, you will see a date following the course name - for example Employment Strategies Mar 27 - Apr 21, 2017, you have access to the course starting March 27th and you must have all the requirements completed by the course end date of April 21.

How do I find out what I need to do to complete/pass my course?

Each course has different requirements, for each course you enrol in, please review the link - "what you need to do to pass your course" which can be found in the first box located on the Course Features Page.

How do I know if I have completed all  of the course requirements?

On your webCampus curse page, select GRADES from the left-hand menu.  The mandatory requirements for the course are listed there with their mark. Any requirement that is missing a mark, means that is pending to be completed.

How many times can I take a test(s)?

You can take a test as many times as you like - to achieve the mark you are comfortable with; the platform records the highest mark.

When are courses available to enrol?

Course enrolment opens approximately 14 days prior to the course start date and closes 1 week prior to the course end date. You will receive an email advising you when enrolment is open and when courses start.

Before I enrol in a course, I want to see the course description, how do I do this?

If you are interested in a course and want to learn more about it BEFORE you enrol, click HERE, and click on a category to see the courses available within that specific category along with a course description.

I accidently enrolled in a course/I don't like the course I enrolled in, what do I do?

If you enrolled in a course and for any reason you do not wish to complete it, send an email to [email protected]. In the email, please indicate you want to be removed from a course, be sure to include your name and the name of the course.  Once you receive confirmation you have been removed from the course, you have the option of enrolling in another course if you wish to do so.

I can't complete the course requirements before the course ends, what do I do?

Not to worry, you will receive an e-mail reminding you that you have 1 week to complete the course requirements. If you are NOT able to complete the course, just reply to the email and let us know - there is NO PENALTY for not completing a course and you are welcome to register for the same course when it next runs.

I am being denied registration because I am over my total 30 hour limit, what do I do?

WebCampus limits the total number of "active" hours to 30 (see course duration time allocated to each course). Once you COMPLETE a course, additional hours will be released and you can enrol in more courses - but remember, course enrolment closes 1 week prior to course end date.

I forgot my password and/or username, what do I do?

When should I receive my certificate?

Approximately 2-3 weeks after the course end date, you will receive your certificate(s) for the course(s) you successfully completed. If you do not receive your certificate, send us an email to [email protected] with your name and the course(s) you completed, we will look into it and get back to you as soon as possible.
