webCampus back in session with new courses and partnerships

webCampus back in session with new courses and partnershipsToronto – September 13, 2016 – With the new school year upon us, webCampus is back in session with a wide range of free courses available to members and their families, as well as a tremendous opportunity to earn credits with some of Canada’s leading colleges and universities.

In addition to the dozens of webCampus courses being offered to members, their family members, and our community allies free of charge, as well as a new webCampus course debuting for the month of September, members and their families can receive recognition for webCampus course credits through UFCW Canada’s certification partnerships with Athabasca University, Brock University, and Conestoga College.

As part of the Athabasca and Brock partnerships, UFCW Canada members and their family members who successfully complete approved webCampus courses can have them recognized as transfer credits towards Certificates or Undergraduate degrees in Labour Studies or Human Resources and Labour Relations. Under the Conestoga partnership, members can have approved webCampus courses recognized as a tuition-free contribution to a Recognition Of Learning through Conestoga College. Since all webCampus courses are free to members and their family members, these partnerships can provide significant cost savings to those interested in furthering their education at the college or university level.

Registration for webCampus is now open. To register for webCampus, and to find out more about the program, visit the webCampus website. To find out more about the webCampus certification partnerships, click here
