New webCampus course for April

New webCampus course for April Toronto – March 16, 2016 – UFCW Canada's groundbreaking online education program, webCampus, is launching a new course for the month of April.

The free online course is being offered in English from March 28 to April 22, and is available to all UFCW Canada members and their families, as well as our community partners.

The new course is described as follows:

Adult Education: Course Design – English only

This course is the second in a series of tutorials aimed at helping union members, activists, and staff gain the skills and confidence needed to facilitate a union education program or course in your local union. Participants will learn about advanced instructional techniques, needs assessment and evaluation, course design, and using media and technology in the classroom.

The objective of this course is to help activists understand how different tools – such as activities, videos, and lectures – can be utilized to provide course participants with a comprehensive and valuable learning experience.
