Canada's leading union launches dynamic new website

Toronto – July 23, 2014 – UFCW Canada has launched a new version of our website, www.ufcw.ca, with dynamic and improved features that better enable members and community partners to access a wide range of resources – from online advocacy campaigns to union scholarships to webCampus' free online courses.

Proudly welcoming visitors as "Canada’s private sector union," the new UFCW Canada website is easier to navigate and includes important information about health and safety, how to join the union, and action opportunities for members and allies. As well, the site automatically adjusts its features to all mobile devices, tablets, and computers, ensuring that visitors can interact with the full website regardless of the device they use. 

"We've updated the face and functionality of the UFCW Canada website to make it more user-friendly and modern," says UFCW Canada National President Paul Meinema. "Our fully bilingual website is a crucial resource for members, community partners, and workers who want to join the union, and the new and enhanced site will allow us to improve services to our membership, better engage our social justice allies, and bring fairness to more workplaces across Canada," Brother Meinema adds.
