Canada’s first social network for labour communicators offers new resource for unions and CALM members

Union websites, e-newsletters, photographs, videos and publications now have a new resource to help them create the best content possible for union members, yet-to-be organized workers and the general public.

The Canadian Association of Labour Media, or CALM, just re-launched their website to highlight the excellent resources that come with being a member of Canada’s original social network for labour communicators and their unions.

Going back to 1976, CALM was started by Canada’s leading unions – including UFCW Canada – to help the labour movement create the best newsletters, websites and other publications, and to offer skills training to activists who develop various types of media.

The new website offers CALM members a range of services to better engage their memberships, interact with other union communicators, and reach the broader public, including a new collection of video tutorials to help build content development skills.
