As Canada's leading union for young workers, UFCW Canada is committed to empowering young members. More than 40 percent of the membership is under the age of 30, making UFCW Canada the country’s most youthful worker organization.

As Canada's leading union for young workers, UFCW Canada is committed to empowering young members through industry-leading collective agreements, as well as key initiatives like the Young Workers Internship Program (YIP), Students Against Migrant Exploitation (SAME), the Think Forward Young Workers Blog, empowering workshops and online educational resources, and exciting scholarship opportunities.

Throughout the years, UFCW Canada has also launched campaigns and initiatives to connect young members across the country and raise awareness about issues that are important to today's young workers. Most recently, the union launched the #TossTuition campaign, which calls for free post-secondary schooling for all Canadians.
