UFCW Canada members are organized into more than 50 provincially-based local unions. Although the majority of our members are organized in both the food and retail sectors, UFCW Canada local unions represent workers in a number of other areas, including the public sector. In every province, UFCW Canada local unions are a large and influential presence with governments, the media, the rest of the labour movement and of course employers with whom we aggressively deal with on behalf of, and for the benefit of, our membership.
